For those you still reeling from this weekend’s Fight of the Century, former Heavyweight champ Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield is stepping up to the plate to give you a fight that’s sure to gain headlines when he faces Mitt Romney.
Despite ruling out a third run for president earlier this year, the 68 year old former presidential candidate will take on Holyfield in an exhibition boxing match for charity on May 15th in Salt Lake City.
As Romney told The Salt Lake Tribune, “It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious.”
Proceeds for the event will go to Charity Vision — a charity group that aims to bring medical care to impoverished areas of the world.
The match up promises to be a strong exhibition, as both participants are no strangers to low blows. Holyfield famously had his ear chewed off by Mike Tyson, while Mitt Romney ran for President and endured a media cycle that criticized his every move.
Good luck to both gentlemen as they prepare for this barn burner of a fight.
