I am a firm believer in using natural medicines to ward of sickness and to fight off infection. This one is one of my absolute favorites for sickness. It contains raw honey, garlic, lemon and onion and the best part is it is not cooked. You are killing off the ingredients that help to fight off the sickness, when you cook something like this. Lemon is high in vitamin C and helps to reduce swelling and inflammation, and it also helps to reduce the production of mucus. Ginger is a wonderful medicinal root that is helpful for settling nausea, upset stomach, cold sweating, dizziness and vomiting. One of the best remedies for sickness it is filled with protective enzymes that are wonderful for the immune system is honey.
- 14 tsp cayenne pepper
- 12 lemon
- 12 Tbsp Raw Honey
- 1 Clove garlic
First, cut the lemon in two pieces, squeeze the lemon juice, and pour it into a small bowl. Then, cut the garlic and let it stand for 10 minutes, and then add it to the lemon juice together with the pepper. Next, add in the honey to the mix and stir well. Drink the final product. Repeat this procedure in four hours.
