USA Today reports that the popular athletic clothing brand, Under Armour, has decided to pull their new “Band of Ballers” T-shirt–a shirt that sought out to famously re-create one of the most iconic photos in American history.

The decision to pull the shirt happened after the company faced rapid criticism from individuals who found the comparison of basketball players raising a hoop to that of American soldiers raising the flag at Iwo Jima to be in bad taste.

The company released a statement on Saturday afternoon to apologize for the t-shirt.
